I started informal tutoring since 9th grade, helping my peers understand math and science. At college, I was a registered tutor with the athletic department, and the most sought after tutor for math and physics. I'm presently working with a leading investment bank, and my schedule gives me only evenings and weekends to tutor.

Tutoring Approach

I work with students of all aptitudes and develop lesson plans based on their likes and dislikes. I have a deep conceptual understanding of math and science, and I try my best to help students develop a similar understanding. I do focus on exam prep and scoring, but my approach is always to get the student to appreciate math and science as subjects and develop a keen interest in them. Thus the students themselves become hungry to learn more and understand better.
