Tutoring Approach

Face to face tutoring is more preferred. Analysis of the strengths and weakness of the students helps to build the tutoring plan and set the pace of the learning accordingly. I like to work along with the student with patience and not lead him. Multiple guidance approaches are my strengths.I like to keep pace with the world hence I also keep on giving competitive exams so that along with tutoring the student can be taught pressure handling which is a key factor for success in any exam.

I have done my Masters in English Language and an MBA to enhance the levels of application and integration of language and communication to the business and professional aspects of an individual or team. I deal in varied ranges of subjects such as basic English language and literature for ICSE, ISC, CBSC and IB; Victorian, contemporary, and modern English literature and history; comparative literature; and usage in spoken and written English. I have been delivering Leadership Skills, Customer Service, and Sales training to the working and business professionals and Spoken English, grammar concepts, Corporate Communication to the students willing to speak English effectively and fluently for the last ten years. My teaching style is an eclectic of sorts and is also beneficial for boards as well as competitive examination like the GMAT, GRE, SAT, IELTS, PSAT, ACT, LSAT, and TOEFL.

Tutoring Approach

I approach tutoring in such a way that I show the students the basics, and then give them a variety of practice exercises and urge them figure out the answers themselves. If in doubt, I would keep prompting them to find the right answers thereby helping them to grasp the right concepts. I believe language can be used and practised together and not taught. 

As for literature, it's an amalgamation of drama and imagination. I just throw some improvisations to top it up.

I have one year experience of teaching Maths and Sciences to school students and a year and half experience of tutoring for under-graduate students. The feedback given by them was good. I have also had a private tutoring session for GMAT for six months. He had successfully given the exam and now perusing MBA in Germany.
