Divide the number into two groups as L.H.S and R.H.S by putting a slash 3 digits from the right Use rule 1 ,for L.H.S and find the cube root closer to that number. Use rule 2 for R.H.S and find the last digit cube root.

 I want to clear this with an example

if we take: 2744

 1.     then we can divide this number as

2  |   744

2.    then

        2   |  744

                     4        ( because the last digit of cube of 4 is 4)

3.      now see that 2 is between the cube of 1 and 2 ,, but near of the cube of 1

4. then

         2  |  744

          1       4

 therefore the answer is : 14

EXAMPLE :. 32768

1.Divide the number into two groups by putting a comma or slash after 3 digits from the right.

    32 | 768 

2. By observing the L.H.S of the number 32 and taking the perfect cube smaller than 32, we can conclude that square root of the number should be 3 from rule 1. Hence for our first digit on L.H.S, the cube root is 3.     32 | 768

3. Coming to the R.H.S, we have 768 as our number. And from rule 2, we know that when the last digit of the cube is 8, its cube root should be 2. Therefore, our R.H.S of the cube root is 2. 

    32 | 768 

     3      2

Therefore, we have successfully found that the cube root for 32768 is 32.

Answer

1. First divide the number into 2 parts- Left & Right, taking last three digits in Right part & rest in Left part.

Eg. 21952 -- Left = 21   Right = 952

2. Find greatest number whose cube is <= left part. Here,number is 2 as 2*2*2 = 8 <=21 (as cube of 3 is 27). 

3. Find the number whose cube last digit is the unit digit of Right part.

Here, cube of 8 ends in 2 ( 8's cube = 512). 

Therefore, Cube root is 28

Fist remember cube for 1 to 10 . now make groups of three from right. now look for the last digit . suppose it is 12,167(last dig =7) it tells that cube root have last digit as 3(3*3*3=2[7]). and then , look for the nearest cube which is less than 12. that is 2 , (2*2*2=8) .  answer is going to be 23

 12167=12(second group) 167( first group)
