Here the entrants were asked most difficult questions by gatekeepers. If anyone could answer it then they could enter the monastery. Most of them were unable to answer it. Beginning of Bhakti (person's devotion to his deity) The idea of Bhakti is present In Bhagavad-Gita, a sacred book of the Hindus.
