Tutoring Approach

I approach tutoring in such a way that I show the students the basics, and then give them a variety of practice exercises and urge them figure out the answers themselves. If in doubt, I would keep prompting them to find the right answers thereby helping them to grasp the right concepts.

How do I plan my lessons: I first explain the topic making the student understand the basic concept and the meaning of the common terms used in the lesson. Then I start with solving easier problems gradually moving to the difficult ones. I then ask the students to solve some problems on their own.
