My lesson plans depend upon the capability level of the student and the complexity of the topic. A good lesson plan requires these three key components which i try my best to incorporate in my planning, 1.Objectives for student learning 2.Teaching/learning activities 3.Strategies to check student understanding My tutoring techniques would be 1. I prefer oral teaching, through maximum discussion about the topics because one cannot learn theoretical subjects without understanding them and discussions bring upon the new perspectives and interest area of the student. Once a student has understood the topic, i will work with him/her on the answer writing skills. 2. Presentations to explain a topic well, if required 3. I would provide notes where they would be needed but would prefer personal efforts of the student to make notes and i can later check those for him/her. To ensure that the student is understanding the topics weekly or monthly tests would be conducted which can be both oral or written. My medium of teaching is English but can be adjustable as per the requirement and understanding level of the student.
