Teaching Approach / Pedagogy -   Science is all around us. Restricting it to a white board and a text book is irrelevant.   1. Understand concepts through stories, indoor and outdoor activities. The entire Physics syllabus for class 8th to 12th is designed to be learned through interesting sports activities.   Even the twins (siblings) have different learning patterns and behaviours, interests,likes and dislikes. How could the traditional one size fits method of teaching be apt for students?  2. Hence I prefer one to one mentoring, to understand the learning patterns of the students and provide the customised learning experience. ( Not more than 8 student in any batch)  Education is the manifestation of perfection already in man. - Swami Vivekananda   3. The think, learn and explore approach helps students to improve their analytical skills and boost their confidence in self. They learn to trust their knowledge to overcome the fear of exam.  Exams are the part and parcel of our education system.   4. I believe exam are a real test of the understanding of the concepts rather than simply scoring to prove a point. Hence we make sure that student excel with their exams with the inherent excellence build with the above methods of learning accompanied by through practise of problems and concepts.  At this age students need not just the academic knowledge but also the moral guidance and support.   5. I help students with personal and career choices based on their interests and career aspirations. This helps build a bond with students which I believe is very important for effective learning experience.

I have been in the teaching industry from 4 years, the basic ideology is not the marks but the concept understanding, once you know how to frame the answers, what points are catchy you are good to write and tell about the answer. I have done Masters in Psychology with specialisation in counselling and child psychology. In the teaching industry you learn lots of things which I want to inculcate with my students.

Tutoring Approach

Planning lessons in a ppt or a pdf format, whatever is suitable for my students. Other than that, there are visual aids such as videos, learning props like using cards and methods.
