I have been teaching for four years at my home and for the past year, I have also been taking home tuitions.

Tutoring Approach

For classes 1-5, I take regular classes and give them worksheets for practice. At the end of every three chapters, I administer a test.

For classes 6-8, I teach them using R.S. Agrawal and R.D. Sharma for math, S. Chand for science, and other materials from NCERT. I provide them with practice sets and administer a test every two weeks.

e. Adaptability: Be prepared to adjust your lesson plan based on the student's progress and questions. Flexibility is key in effective teaching.

2. Tutoring Techniques:

a. Active Listening: Pay close attention to the student's questions and concerns. Encourage them to ask questions and express their thoughts.

b. Socratic Questioning: Use open-ended questions to stimulate critical thinking and help students arrive at solutions on their own.

c. Visual Aids: Incorporate visual aids like diagrams, charts, or videos to explain complex concepts.
