#### Total Experience :

8 Years

Presently providing tuitions to class IX to XII at home. Prior to that, I had been working as GM Fabrics-Sourcing & Development for garment export houses & retail houses for the past 26 years. I teach Mathematics. My experience has been that one to one personal tuition has a unique value to students because of the ability to resolve the student’s personal barriers to learn in a way that lays the foundation for a deep and lasting understanding of the subject.

#### Tutoring Option:

Home Tuition Only

#### Tutoring Approach:

I believe that there is nothing one can not learn. Each student is unique and it is upto a teacher to use an approach that most suits the student instead of adopting a common approach for all students.

• ## Question: What amount is earned on Rs. 1000 at the rate of 10% per annum for 2 years, if t...

Posted in: Mathematics | Date: 08/08/2017

The amount would be 1000×(1+0.05)^4 =1215.5 as interest half yearly would be 5% and no.of times interest calculated would be 4.

• ## Question: A nest of ants has population of 1000. Every week, its population increases by 1...

Posted in: Mathematics | Date: 08/08/2017

A=P(1+(r/100))^n hence no. of ants at the end of 3 weeks would b 1000(1+0.12)^3 =1405.

• ## Question: The amount becomes Rs. 1,323 in two years at 5% p.a. if interest is compounded a...

Posted in: Mathematics | Date: 08/08/2017

Based on compound interest formula , principal P (1+.05)^2 =1323 amount .Hence P= Rs.1200.

• ## Question: The compound interest for an amount of Rs. 1,200 calculated for 2 years, compoun...

Posted in: Mathematics | Date: 08/08/2017

Amount/Principal =1323/1200 =(1+%r)^2. Hence sq.root(1323/1200)=1.05,which makes interest rate as 5%.

• ## Question: A sum of Rs. 1089 becomes Rs. 1296 in two years at a compound interest, which is...

Posted in: Mathematics | Date: 08/08/2017

Ans.option c 9.09%, based on formula A =P(1+%r)^n. Hence 1296=1089(1+%r )^2 i.e.sq.rt(1296/1089)= 36/33=12/11=1+%r, hence r= 100/11= 9.09%.

Posted in: Mathematics | Date: 10/10/2017

Average speed= Total distance travelled/Total time taken =(3+3)miles/(20+25) min.= 6 miles per 45 min.=6miles/(45/60)hour=6*60/45=8 miles per hour

• ## Question: Which of the following four wires will have the largest extension when the same ...

Posted in: Physics | Date: 10/10/2017

Based on Young's Modulus formula Y=stress/strain, extension =force*length/(Area*Young Modulus).Based on the same, extension is directly proportional to length/radius**2 under same force and material.hence ratio of extensions option wise from a to d work s out to 8:4:2:(4/3). Thus maximum extension in option a

• ## Question: The mass of a planet is $\frac{1}{10}$th that of the Earth and its diameter is...

Posted in: Physics | Date: 10/10/2017

Since acceleration due to gravity g=GM/R**2, hence ratio of g on planet to that of earth equals( 1/10)/ (1/2)**2.Therefore g on this planet=3.92m/sec**2

Firstly, express the number in its simplest form I.e.takeout the common factors from the numerator and denominator simultaneously. Then if the denominator can be expressed as( 2**m) *(5**n) only with m& n being whole numbers, then it has a terminating decimal expression.Else,it has non terminating decimal expression.
