• I used to assist my juniors during my high school days whenever they had problems.
• I lived in a hostel since and used to help out my warden by taking classes.
• Currently, a volunteer tutor at Abhyasika IIT Bombay, a no-profit initiative of our college. 

I feel that students fresh out of school are in a better position to help current bunch because we are more familiar with the psychology of students instead of contemporary teachers. Firstly,I give a context and overview of any topic and its real life references. It is important for a student to know why is he studying a particular topic. A thorough explanation of different topics while emphasising on important topics. Simultaneously, I familiarise him/her with the types of questions than can be asked. I think tutoring should be more of an organic thing because every student has different interests and levels as well as methods of understanding.
