I plan my lesson plans and sessions based on subjects. I also believe that understanding a student is important first on their level of understanding, comprehension, concentration, their visual and auditory abilities. It is important that I normally do a pre asssessment and post assessment of every session either by a questionnaire, or by a small topic of discussion and giving them small projects that involves not just their academic growth and success, but simultaneously developing their learning abilities and intellectual progressions. By these, a Tutor also MUST be able to handle emotional intelligence of a child and an adult. Tutoring is a concept of guidance away from Formal school and it sets a platform to have a platform for a Tutor to be in the role of guardian of education and learning as much as a Educator who is looked up by learners as their trusted developer in their academic and personality development.
