Kasturi Education Pvt. Ltd., established in Kolkata by eminent mathematics faculty Kalyan Roy (famous with the name KR Sir) capitalizing his huge expertise and experience of more than 12 years, teaches Mathematics with great care focusing Engineering Entrance Examinations.

Specializing in Mathematics, we began our academic journey in 2010 and became a popular destination among the students fraternity of the city within a short time. Class X appeared or passed students of any board are eligible to take admission in our institute to prepare for JEE (Main & Advanced ), WBJEE (Engineering), ISI Admission Test (B.Stat / B.Math) as well as side by side XI and XII Board (ISC / CBSE / HS) examinations.

The teaching methodology that we follow in our institute sets us apart from the rest. We try to imbibe among students a love for the subject by dint of detail experimentation.

However, admission criteria is very simple. This institute is open to those students who have appeared in class X Board Exams. The duration of the course is 23 months and it starts in the second week of April, every year. Admission forms are available about 8 months before the commencement of the course.

Unlike almost all other institutes we don't take any admission test. In fact " we don't believe in taking intelligent students, we take students and then make them intelligent ".

Specialities:

Two Year Classroom Program in Mathematics is our flagship course. In this institute one can have only Mathematics and nothing else. In every year, admission of only 150 students ( those who are likely to appear or might have appeared in class X board exams in the same year) is granted on first come first serve basis, forming altogether 3 batches and each batch with a maximum strength 50. No extra student is ever allowed to take admission further in any of these batches except there is any vacancy and admission in the vacant seat is completely under the sole discretion of the management of the institute. Both subjective as well as objective questions are solved and taught in the class. Our course in Mathematics is so nicely designed that one can learn the subject no matter whether class XII Board Examination or Engineering Entrance Examinations or alike. In other words," We do not teach, rather we train " one in Mathematics. However, students of our institute prepare for JEE Main and JEE Advanced (Joint Entrance Examination for admission in under graduate courses in Indian Institute of Technology’s, National Institute of Technology’s, Indian Institute of Information Technology’s and other centrally funded Science & Engineering Institutes in India), WBJEE (Engineering), ISI Admission Test (B.Stat / B.Math) , XI and XII Boards (ISC / CBSE / HS). Our students don't need to go to any other private tutor for clearing their doubts in the subject. Apart from concept based professional teaching, discussions are held on each chapter from zero level, so that all students can understand it properly. Extensive study material, Complete coverage of every topic, time saving problem solving technique, topic wise regular test, on the spot doubt removal and mock test help our students significantly to perform better simultaneously in the Board Exams and the JEE alike.
