My aim as a tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions. My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which the student is encouraged to think . I am a qualified B.Sc (CS) honors, MCA, M.Tech (CS) and right now a research scholar. I used to organized different workshops on Android and Mobile computing to different engineering colleges. I have a teaching experience of 7 years.

Tutoring Approach

My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. However my teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible. I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check understanding continually. I dont give lecture to students or ask them to memorise things. Nor do I do the students homework for them! I usually focus on exam-style or past paper questions in order to check, practice and perfect the student's understanding and technique. I also give a lot of emphasis to some of the less obvious but vital skills such as writing codes and technique, logical thought and the effective use of numbers and graphs and also practical implementation. I believe passionately in the huge value of tutoring to students and take great satisfaction in seeing my students achieve their full potential.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring approach is to teach subjects in a fun, intuitive, and goal-oriented manner than the usual 'learn theory, later do lab exercises' way. After providing a rudimentary understanding of the subject, my approach involves setting definite goals/projects for each lesson and nudge the students towards fulfilling the specific goal, in the process learning the nuances of the subject. The student-teacher interaction is maintained through short-quizzes which are then backed by assignments. The assignments are designed specifically to nudge students to explore more, thereby inculcate the the habit of self-learning Depending on the course, there will be multiple small projects, which will seek to test the understanding of a group of lessons
