I have one year of experience as a home tutor and seven years of professional experience as a software developer. After taking a career break, I chose to pursue teaching as it strongly aligns with my passion for guiding and mentoring students.

My background in software development, particularly working with Java, has strengthened my problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. I bring these skills into my teaching by helping students approach problems logically and independently.

I focus on understanding each student’s learning style and encourage them to solve problems on their own by providing step-by-step guidance and subtle hints. I believe that when students actively engage in problem-solving, they develop a deeper understanding of concepts and build confidence in their abilities.

Approach:

I tailor my teaching to each student’s current level of understanding, identifying what they already know and what they need to learn next. I carefully plan my lessons by breaking complex topics into smaller, manageable steps, allowing students to build their knowledge gradually. For each concept, I provide a range of practice problems from easy to more challenging, guiding students with small hints whenever they get stuck so they can arrive at solutions independently. I believe that when students gain confidence through this process, they become capable of tackling any problem.
