Experience:

I am teaching a student of 9 th standard from six months. Before teaching Mathematics and science I focus on the basic foundation that requires for further learning. Basically when student understand the concepts of subject ( specially mathematics) then he feels that subject interesting even if it is not easy for him before it. I spend little extra time on foundation if it requires for the student so that he can grasp further concepts fast.
