Experience:

Graduate from medical school looking forward to teach Biology to high school students. As a licensed medical practitioner, I have been involved in a number of scholarly activities involving research writing, oral presentations and public lectures. I am passionate about teaching and look forward to tutoring students in a field I have had some great experiences learning myself. Previous experiences include teaching high school students. College level pharmacy and biomedical students.

Approach:

While I start with a formal framework for each class, I make modifications depending upon the requirements of each individual. I insist upon evidenced based strategies for learning which include "Active Recall" and "Spaced Repetition." These seem challenging to begin with, but have better returns in the long run.
