Experience:

Engineering and then a master degree in history I have been teaching in a multi branched and reputed ICSE school in the senior classes, the subjects - History, geography, maths and chemistry for three years now. Focusing on the more practical approaches, and trying to relate the subject with everyday life common examples and analogies, I make students see the story behind every concept and idea so as to help them understand and absorb better.

Approach:

I plan the lesson in ways so as to make higher level concepts to fit into the everyday life and by using models, diagrams, graphs, pictures and flowcharts. I try to induce visual imagery so as to make the learning an easier experience and to make students retain the knowledge easily. I try to relate to the students mindset so as to inspire him or her and to make learning an all-round experience.
