Science Lab – A hands-on learning centre for children to enjoy learning by sheer experience. Individual labs for Physical and Biological Sciences have been set up for students of all classes. The special feature of these labs is the latest technological devices to aid scientific learning.

Math lab – At Chennai Public School, math lab help the Junior and Senior students to understand abstract concepts through designed activities using manipulatives, 2D & 3D models, board games, mind games, etc. This experience allows them to discover many important mathematical principles making math learning easy and enjoyable.

English Lab – English lab at Chennai Public School throws light to hone English learning and Communication skills, to build strong vocabulary, phonetics, intonation and modulation. Robotics Lab - Robotics curriculum at Chennai Public School is offered from classes III to VIII. This course introduces students to basics of modeling, designing, planning, and control of robotic systems. They gain exposure to the systems of sensors, control systems, manipulators, power supplies and software that work together to perform a task. The curriculum has a set of targets for children of appropriate age groups and the child is tested in the acquired skills for creativity, problem solving and teamwork.

Iken Science Lab - Chennai Public School Iken lab is the first of its kind in the South East Asia which supports the development of key cross disciplinary skills among learners and helps them to understand scientific concepts using indigenously designed kits. This science based curriculum gives students the hands-on experience in learning science the practical way through well designed experiments and project work. Library: Despite the fact that the worldwide web has made inroads into the reading habits of children all over the globe, the indispensability of the book-reading practice can never be replaced. The school has a full-fledged well-stocked library with spacious reference and reading areas for the benefit of all students in their pursuit of knowledge. The library has been neatly categorized subject-wise for easy reference based on the age and class groups. The entire operation is computerized including the acquisition of books, cataloguing, lending, financial transactions, reminder follow-up, return, renewal and allocation of books.

The Chennai Public School library has a collection of 5000 books on all kinds of academic and non-academic subjects which are very useful for extra reading and widening horizons. The junior section consists of subjective books, fiction and audio-visual aids. The books are periodically renewed and updated. 3D Sci-Fi Theatre:

Absolutely air conditioned 3D Theatre with a seating capacity of 300 students is a place to organize 3D shows, guest lectures, career guidance programs, cultural programs, inter house competitions, common examinations and so on. Arrangements at our Auditorium include perfect seating facility and acoustics which enable us to organize various programmes whenever required.

Sporting activity at Chennai Public School forms an inseparable part of student life. Apart from boosting essential physical activity and exercise, it gives them the joy of participation, thrill of competing and opportunity for leadership and team spirit. All-embracing infrastructure has been made available for the convenience of our students who wish to participate in any sporting event. In fact, every student takes part in one sport or the other and extensive coaching is given for them to acquire proficiency in the game of their choice.

Students are segregated into four houses namely Alphard House, Canopus House, Diadem House and Plasma House. Intra-mural games and sports are conducted to promote healthy competitions among the four houses where the adrenaline is gushed up as they take part in all events energetically. The annual Sports Day is always a star studded event in the annals of Chennai Public School where the champions of our school look forward to celebrate their achievements.

Students are also encouraged to take part in inter-school competitions and staff members are delegated to guide and accompany the teams for tournaments at the District, State and National levels. In order to help our students stay a step ahead of this surging trend, Chennai Public School has introduced the School of Excellence program(SOE), dedicated to the task of enhancing the potential of students to a higher standard of academic training. Chennai Public School has tied up with FIITJEE, a renowned training institute which has the distinction of playing a pivotal role in the success of innumerable candidates in top national competitive entrance examinations such as IIT-JEE, AIEEE, BITSAT, NEET, PMT & PDT, NATA, KVPY and OLYMPIADS.

Experts from respective fields work out the curriculum for this extra learning and trained faculty are entrusted with the assignment of grooming students.

Curriculum Enhancement Program: The Curriculum Enhancement Program has been designed by the SOE to target students from classes 6 to 10. The initial part of the program is to help students identify their aptitudes for specific vocations and thereafter to work toward preparing for the particular exam that lead to the desired profession. Some of these national-level exams include the NSE, NTSE, AMTI, SOF and so on. The characteristic of these exams are of extremely challenging nature and cracking them not only requires the inspirational spark, but also rigorous and thoughtful preparation.
