We know that S.I unit of power lens 1dioptre,D= reciprocal of focal length(f) in metre So, D=1/f or, f=1/D=1/2= 0.5 metre= 50 c.m. So, focal length of this lens is = 50 c.m.

focal length (f)= 1/power (p in m).

so here in question power(p) is given which is 2 Dioptre.

Now put in formula and get the Answer

F=1/2(m) =0.05m=50cm.

Y

Focal length (f) = 1/p P = power Given p = 2.0d F = 1/p = 1/2.0 = 0.5m = 50cm
Y
• Like
Focal length (f) = 1/p P = power Given p = 2.0d F = 1/p = 1/2.0 = 0.5m = 50cm
