Ask a Question
Answer:

Percentage

Answer:
Given, unpainted area of the wall= 60%. Then, wall area painted= 100%-60%= 40%. Then, area painted by Anil and Umar combined= 40%. Again, Anil alone has painted 25% of the wall area (given). Then, area painted by Umar alone= 40%-25%=15%. According to the question, Umar has painted 30 sq.m. i.e. 15% of wall area=30 sq.m. => 30/100 of area= 20 sq.m. So, total area of the wall= 100%= (30×100)/15= 200 sq.m. Thus, area of the wall painted by Anil alone= 25% of the wall area= (25×200)/100= 50 sq.m. answer.
Answer:
60% of the wall is unpainted means total 40% of the wall is painted which is equal to work done by Anil + Umar. Anil painted 25% Total wall painted 40% Means Umar painted 40-25= 15% if the wall which is equal to 30 sq.m Hence if 15% = 30 sq.m 25% = (30÷15)×25 = 50 sq.m Anil painted 50 sq.m of the wall
Answer:

As we know that total percentage=100

THEREFORE

25+60+30sq mts=100

30sqmts=100-85

30sqmts=15%

Therefore 1%= 2 sqmts

FROM ABOVE QUESTION we have to find 25%=25*2

hence 50 sqmts is the answer.

Answer:

Answer:

Area remained unpainted after Anil and Umar =  60%

Therfore area painted combinedly by Anil and  Umar  =40%

Of the above 40% ,work completed by Anil=  25%

So work completed by Umar=  40-25%     =   15%.

But work done by Umar in terms of area=     30 Sq.Metres.

Thefore percentage of work done by Umar=  15% =  30 Sq.Metres

Hence work done by Anil in terms of area=    (25/15)*30  = 50 sq.Metres

Answer:
60% of the wall is left unpainted, 25% of the wall Anil has painted. Therefore, 100%-(60%+25%)=15% of the wall Umar has painted. Hence, Total area of wall =30÷15%=30×100/15=200 sq. m. Therefore, area of wall painted by Anil=25% of 200 sq.m.=50 sq.m.
Answer:

60% of the wall is unpainted. So, 40% is painted. Thus, Umar actually painted (40 - 25)% = 15% of the wall.

BTP, 15% = 30 sq. m  .   => 25% = (30/15)*25 sq. m = 50 sq. m

Hence, Anil painted 50 sq. m of the wall .   Ans.

Answer:
Anil painted 25 percent of the wall. And after Anil and Umar's work 60 percent of the wall is still unpainted. So, the percentage of the wall that is painted by Umar = {100 - (60+25)}% = 15 % Now Umar painted 30 sq meter of the wall So, 15%of the wall = 30sq meter Hence 25% of the wall = 50 sq meter. Hence, Anil painted 50 sq meter wall.

Answer:
Let, the total area of wall be x sq. m. Area painted by anil =25% of x. Or (25/100)×X sq.m. Area painted by Umar = 30 sq.m. Unpainted area =60% of X. Or(60/100)×X sq.m. Therefore, Painted areas + unpainted area= Total area (25/100)×X+30+(60/100)×X=X X=200 So, area painted by anil = (25/100)×200 =50 sq.m
Answer:

Let the area of the wall be x.

It says Anil had painted 25% of the wall. So it becomes 25/100 of x or 0.25x.

After Umar painted 30 sq. m of the wall, in addition to the 0.25x of Anil painted, the wall is finished for 40%. (because it says 60% of the wall is left unpainted).

So the equation can be written as:

          0.25x + 30 sq.m = 40/100 of x or 0.40x.

Solve the above equation for x.

i.e. 0.25x + 30 sq. m = 0.40x

      0.40x-0.25x = 30 sq m

      0.15x = 30 sq. m

          x = 30 sq.m / 0.15

         x = 200 sq.m.

          It means the total wall area is 200 sq.m.

         Since 25% of this area is painted by Anil, the area painted by Anil is 0.25*200 sq.m = 50 sq.m.
