Answer:

representing the data below 0 is know as negative of that number

eg. when we want to represent temp below 0 so we have to take digits in negative

Answer:
A negative number is a real number but less than zero. Negative number is any number to the left of zero on the number line. They are written by the - sign attached on the left.
Answer:
Negative of no is called integer
Answer:

The negative of any real number is actually its additive inverse .

For a positive real number, its negative will be just the same magnitude with the minus ( - ) sign. Similarly, for a negative real number, its negative will be just the same magnitude with the plus ( + ) sign. So in these cases, always the sign just flips keeping the magnitude or value of the number exactly the same.

Answer:
Negetive of a no. Meant to be its additive inverse i.e. sum of that no. and its negetive is zero. Ex. Addtive inverse of 6 is -6 .6+(-6) = 0
Answer:
Negative of a number is less than zero. For example negative of 6 is -6. All the numbers on the left side of 0 of the number line are negative numbers. Namely -5, -4 and so on.
Answer:
....-6 -5 -4 -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3 4...... If the above represents the number line, the numbers which are left side to the 0 are called as negative numbers. Also as the number line increases the negative number value decreases. The minus symbol indicates the negative sign. For eg: -2 is greater than -3 and less than -1. -1> -2>-3
Answer:

Negative of a number is a real number

Which is always less than zero.

Answer:

A negative number is an integer but when it is added with a greater positive number it changes to positive

Answer:
Negative number is a real number that is less than 0. Negative number represent at left hand on number line
Answer:

Negative number is an integer which is less than 0.

Example : -1, -5 etc

On the number line we show it on the left hand side of 0. Negative numbers are always less than 0 and any positive numbers.

Within negative numbers, the larger the numerical value of the number, the less the number.

Example : -2 is less than -1, -8 is less than -4 etc

Answer:

It is a real nummber less than zero and thus it has a negative sign infront of the respective no.

Fo Ex. negative of the number 5= -5

It can be more understand with the help of number line system.

Answer:
Negative of a number is a concept where you add this no. And it's counterpart to get identity of addition. For example: 5+(-5)=0, here -5 is negative of 5
Answer:
Negative numbers is real numbers that is less than Zero (0). Ex- -1,-2,-3 etc. Negative numbers are represented left hand side on number line.
Answer:
We know that 0 means nothing but there are instances in real life where we use numbers that are less than 0. For example - In few cold regions the temperature is below 0°Celsius i.e. -4°C or -40°C Here -4 and -40 are less than 0 and are called negative numbers. Hence, A negative number is any number that is less than 0 and is represented by a negative (-) sign.
Answer:
The putting of negative sign instead of positive sign infront of that real number is called negative of that number.
Answer:
Negative of a number is the number multiplied by -1 in simpler terms the number itself decends in multiples of the number itself
Answer:

Negative of a number gives you the additive inverse of that number i.e. negative of 2 is -2. Therefore if you add 2 and -2 you get 0 So 2 and -2 are additive inverse of each other. Take another example say negative of -4. The answer is 4 because the additive inverse of -4 is 4. Negative of a number is actually additive inverse of that number.

Answer:
Negative number is real number that is less than zero
Answer:

Negative of a given number is the same umber with opposite sign (i.e. its present sign is negated). The negative of a number can be obtained by negating (or adding a - sign in front of it) its current sign. For example negative of 3 = -(3) = -3. Similarly negative of -3 = -(-3) = +3 = 3. Because negative of negative is positive so negative of a negative number is a positive number.
