What's Your Question?
Answer

Because metals have free Or mobile electrons thats why they conduct electricity. In metal, the outer most orbit of an atom of that metal having electrons which is losely bond with the atom.If we give the electric current in that metal, the elctron which is in the outermost orbit moves from that atom and collides with the positive charged ions in the metal conductor.Hence the drifting of electrons takes place.

Electrons moves from lower potential to higher potential where as electric current moves from higher potential to lower that is just opposite direction of electron

So electrons moves from lower to higher potential with drift in its motion and current moves just opposite direction of electron. From this the electrons and current makes its own path in the metal and flow from one end to another end, the electric current pass from that metal that is the metals conducts electricity.

Answer
Metals have free electrons. In metals conduction band and valance band overlaps because of this overlapping metals conduct electricity.
Answer

Metal have free electrons. Free is electron is what which is free from the attraction of the nuclei. and there are lots of free electrons in the metal which are moving in random direction .Now if we apply an electric field then the motion of the electrons become unidirectional so we can get current in the opposite direction ..

Answer

Metals have free electron, that means after creating covalent bond, both atom have some electron that is easy to lose which flows in whole lattice freely. These electrons results in transfer of electricity when potential difference is applied.

Answer

Energy band gap in case of metal is overlap (conduction band and valence band) .Therefor metal is a good conductor of electricity..

Answer
Metal conduct electricity due to movement of free electrons in their valance shell. It is not the free electron who helps in conduction but its movement which causes conduction. These electrons in valence shells are free to move throughout the atom and give rise to property of conductivity.
Answer
Metal readily give up their valance electron and because of this reason In metals electrons are free to move throughout the structure, and gives rise to properties such as conductivity
Answer
Metal conduct electricity bcz of the free moving of electrons, the electron alone cannot make the metal act as the conductor's metals... It is the free movement of electron in metal that give them their conductivity ..
Answer

Electricity is generated due to free electron transfer. Metals have free valence electrons present in their outer orbit . So they have higher tendency to leave them as compared to other materials . So they are highly conductive in nature.

Answer
Metals are electropositive in nature so they can easily loose an electrons. Because of that free electrons metals can conduct electricity. Eg:Na, Au.
Answer
Metals conduct electricity is very basic concept. We can take examples of solid and liquid if we put solid and liquid in pipe then solid remains steady while water starts flow in the pipe.Similary metals have free particles like water called electron who starts following from positive side to negative.
Answer
Meals have free electrons which allow to move when a force (electric field) is applied
Answer
Anything which have free electrons can conduct electricity. Metals conduct electricity because metals have free electrons which moves throughout the structure. Eg. Cu, Al , Ag..etc.
Answer

If you go through the periodic table, you can see the metals have a single electron at their outermost shell. This electron is loosely bound to the nucleus and can move easily on the application of a potential difference. If you go through the periodic table from left to the right, you will find that the number of electrons in the outer shell of an element increases and, thus its conductivity decreases.

Answer
The presence free electrons in the valence shall of an atom enable the conduction of electricity
Answer
Metals conduct electricity because in metals electrons are free to move throughout the structure and hence, they possess the property of conducting electricity.
