What's Your Question?
Answer
Shutter speed of a camera is the amount of time the shutter will remain open while taking the picture. It controls the exposure of the image. In bright light a faster shutter speed is used and in dim light a slower shutter speed is used. Shutter speed in a camera is denoted in various ways, in older film cameras (and in a few modern mirrorless camers) there used to be a dial that controlled the shutter speed and nowadays it can be easily accessed in body of dslrs. Shutter speeds can be in the range of 30 seconds to 1/8000th of a second depending on the camera! The faster shutter speeds can also be used to freeze fast action where as the slower shutter speeda can be used to create motion blurs.
