covelent compound have formed by the shareing of electrons b/w two elements . it has low melting point .it has no properties to make isomerism .
Ionic compounds have ionic bonds while covalent compounds have covalent bonds.
Ionic bond formed between metalic and non metalic atoms , Covalent bond formed between non metalics only .
Ionic compound has high melting point , Covalent compound has lower melting point.
