What's Your Question?
Answer

A primary server is a server that stores a file about the zone for which it is an authority. It is responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating the zone file. A secondary server is a server that transfers the complete information about a zone from another server (primary or secondary) and stores the file on its local disk. The secondary server neither creates nor updates the zone files.

Answer
A primary server is a server that acts as the first source for Domain Name System (DNS) data and responds to queries. It can be contrasted to the secondary server, which acts like the primary server but does not have the same access to data. The process of a primary web server communicating with the secondary server is known as a zone transfer, as zone data is being sent from a DNS server to another. Each domain name is assigned to DNS servers for redundancy, and to simplify the process of server administration.
Answer

Primary server creates, maintains, and updates information about its zone and secondary server gets its information  from a primary server.

The Main Difference Between Primary Server and Secondary Server is Primary Server is a Server when we first install  Domain Controller on a Server and Secondary Server is a Server when we add another Server to the existing Primary  Server and this Instance is Called as Secondary Server or Backup Domain Controller.

Answer

Primary server creates, maintains, and updates information  about its zone and secondary server gets its information  from a primary server.

Significance:- Both the primary server and secondary server provide you Web traffic data, such as keyword activity and number of hits. The only difference between the data collected by each server is how the server obtains the data. Function:- Primary servers directly obtain data through local files. Secondary servers obtain information from zone transfers with a secondary source, typically the primary server. Restrictions:- You can only have one primary server. However, you can have an unlimited number of secondary servers. Considerations:- While you can manage both servers from the same computer, JH Software, a company started in 1999 that primarily deals with DNS, recommends managing the servers from different Internet protocol, or IP, addresses. One way to do this is by using an online DNS service to manage your secondary server. Interesting Fact:- Primary servers and secondary servers may also be referred to as super master (primary) and slave (secondary) servers.
