What's Your Question?
Answer

Answer:

Let the share of Anu =   Rs x

Then the share of Tanu  = Rs( 118445- x)

Rate of compound Interest =  17%

Thefore Anu's share at the end of 9 years at the above rate of compound interest =

Rs x*(1.17)^9

Similarly Tanu's share at the end of 11 years at the above rate of compound interest=

(118445- x)* (1.17)^11

Equating both we get  x*(1.17)^9  =  (118445-x)*(1.17)^11

that is {x/ (118445-x)}  = (1.17)^2

that is  {x/ (118445-x)}  =  1.3689  or

x = 118445*1.3689 - 1.3689x. Simplifying

2.3689 x = 118445*1.3689

or x =  (118445*1.3689/ 2.3689)  = Rs 68445

Therefore Anu's  share  = x= Rs 68445

Tanu's share =  118445 - x =  118445-68445  = Rs50000
