What's Your Question?
Answer

option D is correct answer

Answer

1H NMR spectrum data:

  • 1.30 ( triplet, 6H) suggest presence of  two -CH3 methyl group attahed directly to -CH2- group.
  • 4.29 (quartet, 4H) suggest presence of two -CH2- methylene group attached directly to -CH3 group.

above data suggest that molecule contain two CH3CH2- units.

  • 7.4-7.9 (multiplet, 4H) suggest aromatic hydrogen.

IR spectrum data:

  • 1740 & 1600 suggest presence of carbonyl group -COO- group.
  • 1300-1000 suggest presence of C-O part.

Therefore, on the basis of spectroscopic data option D is the structure of molecule.

Answer

Answer will be option D

as we can see option A, it does not have sufficient no of H as given in NMR so it will not be the ans.

similarly we can see in option C, it does not have sufficient no. of H.

Ir frequency 1740 shows carbonyl carbon frequency. so B does not have any carbonyl carbon

So answer will be D.
