Let take t is the time taken by A.C of 50hz in reaching 0 to maximum value

w.k.t,

v(t)= i*sin( 2*pi*w*t)

frequency w=50hz

v(t)= i*sin(2*pi*50*t)  -----------------------(1)

since we take value from 0 to max,

we consider that, v(t)=0, at t=0

.k.t,For max value,

v(t)=v/sqrt(2) -----------------------------(2)

Now comparing 1 and 2

2*pi*50*t= pi/4          (since sin (pi/4)= pi/4)

t=pi/400 = pi/4 * 2*pi*w

t=1\8f = 1/8*50 = 2.5ms
