What's Your Question?
Answer

Persistent refers to an object's ability to transcend time or space. A persistent object stores/saves its state in a permanent storage system with out losing the information represented by the object.Persistent objects are those which survive between successive invocations of the program.

A non-persistent object is said to be transient or ephemeral. By default objects are considered as non-persistent. Most objects cease to exist when they go out of scope. This may be when the function in which they were created terminates or when the container in which they reside is deleted. These are generally non-persistent objects.
