mass is a absolute quantity means it doesn't change with location,weight is not absolute quantity it depend on location.

for example- a body of mass 10 kg on earth it weight  (10*g) newton on earth whereas on moon its mas is remain 10 kg  but weight is (10*g/6).

mass is scalar quantity whereas weight is vector quantity.

Mass is the quantity which is measured in kilograms while weight is gravitational force exerted on mass which can be find out by multiplying mass with gravitational constant g(9.81 m/s2).
