The primary among them is the research, development and commercialization of wireless subcutaneous biosensors primarily focusing on the popular Bluetooth technology. Model architecture of a generic subcutaneous biosensor has been designed in the next page. The major advantage of subcutaneous biosensors over external biosensors is the accuracy of data measurement. Current bio-medical equipments measure data over a snapshot of time whereas subcutaneous biosensors continuously measure and transmit data in wireless mode. The next research challenge is standardizing, developing and fine-tuning of Multimedia databases which will store text, images, audio and video data. The Multimedia data transmission requirement will drive active development and standardization of 4th generation (4G) wireless technology in the country. Artificial Intelligence Techniques will guide us in developing software solutions like Decision Support Systems for Just-In-Time or Rapid Decision making. Data encryption algorithm will have to be more secure and robust and so should be Bio-Metric technologies validating received data. Information security concerns will drive the research in security area as wireless data transmission of patient's most innate data should be very well secured. Page:N0. 6
