I usually pre-schedule all the areas to be covered in the syllabus, and complete it within the planned time frame, ensuring that all the concepts are well-understood by the students, doubts are cleared, enough revision & pre-exams sessions are executed before the final exam. I will initially talk to the student, take his syllabus. Teach him what his syllabus contains, then will breakdown the syllabus into different hours for tutoring. I will teach him everything he need to be taught for his requirement.
