Caveat emptor ie; consumers beware. A customer needs to take qualitative and quantitative decisions while buying a product.
Quantitative precautions include decision regarding price ie; checking MRP which should be equal to or more than what u have paid, taking a check on quantity mentioned on the packing while qualitative measures relate to ascertaining whether the goods match the prescribed standard norms;checking manufacturing and expiry date taking a bill of purchase is also mandatory .Still if a consumer feels deprived of any of his consumer rights he can approach a consumer redressal forum.
