I generally prefer to teach more practically than theoretically. I don't believe in rote learning that students do for their exams. First few classes would be about knowing the syllabus from the students itself. Then the subjects would be taught accordingly. When the teaching session would begin I would like to know what the student already know on the topic and on the basis of the knowledge he/she already has, I would proceed my teaching.
