I take a very simplistic approach towards tutoring. I take up a topic and help the student understand the concept involved their, to do so I use text book, non-text book examples to help the student visualize the topic/concept that is been taught, followed by solving some numericals. I then furnish test assignments for the students(numerical and theory) from the recently concluded topic, which are later solved and discussed(doubt clearing session). Certain topics which are very essential I spend more time and effort in helping the student understand it, its only when I feel confident that the student has understood it that I proceed further.
