I taught home tuition. That was for 1 year. Firstly, I make a routine according to the student's subjects. I asked him which subject is difficult for him so I can teach that specific subject twice a day, like maths. Before starting teaching him, I asked him which subjects he studies in his school and which chapter is being taught in his school so I can clear up any doubts in that specific chapter. After clearing doubts, I tell him to learn the lesson and write down some questions so that he will gain more confidence in the chapter.

I keep a specific copy for my lesson plan because I think it is very important to plan lessons before teaching anything. I plan my lessons as if I am teaching myself first to understand that specific topic or chapter so I can easily make the student understand the same. I make short notes for each chapter, mark important lines, and write them in my lesson plan book.
