Hello there. I have been in the home tutoring domain for more than 2 years now. I believe that the teaching approach that I follow has been developed out of experience from both, the way I myself used to study and by gauging the learning curve of the students that I taught. When I started out my pursuit of IIT, I realised that the amount of hours that you put in to study hardly matters. What matters is the approach that you follow. Everyone encounters those peers who don't seem to study at all and still perform much better than average. Personally, not being such a person initially, I used to be frustrated looking at such people. So I decided to observe how these perceived 'geniuses' study differently. It was then that I realised this 'technique' of studying, which can be put to use not just to learn math or physics, but for anything in general. I was suddenly finding myself solving problems with much more ease and clarity than before. Gradually I started being known as the guy who comes up with elegant shortcuts and tricks to solve the most difficult questions. It is this technique that I employ in tutoring. Having travelled the trajectory from being a normal hard working student to the current self, I believe that I can mimic the same into my students. Further, when I made it into IIT Bombay, with an AIR 882, I realised that everyone around me in some way or the other practises this 'technique'. About fifteen lakh aspirants enrol for IIT-JEE, only the top 2000 make it in, thats a selection ratio of 0.00133. Needless to say that to beat such brutal odds, you should be equipped with this technique, which is exactly what I plan to do. Cheers and peace.
