Along with being an MBA from Sydenham, I'm also a PRM (Professional Risk Manager) and a CFA Level II Candidate. I'm also the Gold Medalist of CFERM (Certificate in Financial Engg. & Risk Management) batch 2012, offered by NISM at Vashi. One other thing about me is that I can gauge the student's capability very quickly and adjust my teaching methodology and pace according to him/her so that he/she can reap the maximum benefit.

Tutoring Approach

I come to the first lecture with no assumptions on the level of knowledge of the student. Its only after my first interaction, I plan my lectures accordingly and adjust my pace and the teaching methodology. I always try to relate the new concepts with something the student already knows or has experienced and that way, it gets a lot easier for him/her to grasp the topics. I lay a good foundation of the fundamentals in every subject, so that once we get to the more the complicated topics, I can always relate them back to the fundamentals and how this new concept arrived from there. This way the student is able to get a clear idea of a difficult concept.

I teach to invoke curiosity as teaching is just a tool for knowledge. I give examples from real life, my experiences, books and give stories to illustrate different concepts from Derivatives to Profit Loss.
