I have been playing guitar for almost 12 years now. I started with a tutor for a month after which I started learning the instrument on my own through youtube videos and tabs. A couple of years back I took formal education in the form of Music Production at the True School of Music in Lower Parel. I am well acquainted with staff notations, tabs, music theory,etc. I can help with Trinity examinations as well as pursuing your passion according to your needs.

Tutoring Approach

I take an assessment of the student in the first class for about 15 mins, after which I start planning the lessons accordingly. The assessment is for identifying weaknesses and strengths depending on your level of playing, even if you haven't held a guitar ever before or been playing for few years. All the consequent lessons are planned to target the weaknesses and to increase the spectrum of knowledge in music in general, not just guitar. I focus on Technique, Theory, Ear training and Sight reading(if preparing for exams).
