Experience

I am a B.Sc. Honours graduate in Statistics from Lady Brabourne College, Kolkata which is under the University of Calcutta. I am also an M.Sc. graduate in Statistics from the University of Calcutta. Currently I am pursuing my Ph.D. degree in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute (I.S.I.), Kolkata.I have an experience of teaching business mathematics to two B.Com students & Statistics to a West Bengal board student of the 12th standard.I have taught several students Stat and Math pass of Calcutta University.I have taught stat to two students from Delhi University.I have taught 3 students Maths for ISI MSQE, MSTAT Entrance exam.I have taught three students Stat honours under Calcutta University.Moreover I taught Msc Stat also to one student of Kalyani University.Recently I am teaching stat and math to one having MSc in HRD.I am teaching Econometrics to two students..one under CU and another from Bombay Universiry.Infact I have done several assignments in statistics of abroad also.

Tutoring Approach

My USP is that I am good at both theoretical and applied statistics & mathematics and that I can explain the theories of Statistics and Mathematics in an explicit and simple way to the students so that they can catch the theories and my explanations quite easily. I can teach the topic in such a way that the student can further teach the same topic to his/her student in the same,easy & understandable way.I am interested to teach students of Statistics (both Honours and Pass) at the undergraduate level. I am also interested to teach Mathematics and Statistics to students of classes 11 and 12, and Mathematics to students of classes 9 and 10.Infact,I can teach Statistics for business decision to B.Com and M.Com students,BBA as well as MBA students.I also can teach statistics for competitive exam at any level.I am open to teach students at my home or online via Skype.

Experience

I have done my graduation BSc(Economics honours) from Scottish Church College under Calcutta University. I have been teaching since last 3 years... And I hope there will be no complain about my bad or insufficient teaching.

Tutoring Approach

I teach according to the syllabus. Every teaching 2 -3 chapters I take an exam fr an assessment. Then for the board exams I take special exams and also give special classes as per need.

i can give individual attention to the students.
I would describe my teaching style as coaching. Instead of offering answers to my students, I try to ask the right questions, and with the help of demonstration and group activities they should find the answers. In my opinion, the young generation lacks critical thinking and creativity. I try to help them develop these abilities, and that’s exactly why I prefer coaching to lecturing, the prevalent teaching style for this grade level. I just try to prepare my students better for the challenges they will face in the employment market.
