My academic background comprises B. Tech, M. Tech, PhD and MBA With a long experience (42 years) in industry and in Jadavpur University as a faculty , after retirement, I got interested in teaching the commerce students. i started teaching Business Mathematics, Financial Management, Corporate Accounting, Cost Accountancy. to a few needy students. I could notice critical gaps in basic understanding of the subjects , bridged the gap and finally they could solve problems with twists and turn.

Tutoring Approach

My approach of teaching is conventional with modern tools embedded. I first explain the underlying basic principles of the topics, set a simple problem explaining its relevance to real world to generate interest and the switch to more complex problems guiding them to the solution bridging any understanding gap in between. The idea is to generate self-confidence and believe in ' I can do'. Periodic mock tests are carried out and notes are provided for preparation for examinations.
