Tutoring Approach

• Building up basic concepts from the grass root level with individual care.
• Providing brief & to-the-Point notes, suggestions, and problem sheets.

Experience

Being a commerce student from class IX level, I have an in-depth knowledge about the stream. After completing my schooling from a reputed school, I pursed my graduation degree from University of Calcutta. Along with that I am also pursuing my Company Secretary course which gives me a vast knowledge about Economy and Law. Apart from this, teaching has always been my hobby because it helps me sharpen my skills and not only the student but even I also get an opportunity to increase my knowledge.

Tutoring Approach

I approach tutoring in such a way that I show the students the basics, and then give them a variety of practice exercises and urge them figure out the answers themselves. If in doubt, I would keep prompting them to find the right answers thereby helping them to grasp the right concepts.

I would describe my teaching style as coaching. Instead of offering answers to my students, I try to ask the right questions, and with the help of demonstration and group activities they should find the answers. In my opinion, the young generation lacks critical thinking and creativity. I try to help them develop these abilities, and that’s exactly why I prefer coaching to lecturing, the prevalent teaching style for this grade level. I just try to prepare my students better for the challenges they will face in the employment market.
