The object revolves around the planet are called satellite. Natural satellite is made by Nature at the time of earth birth. It is the made up of rocks ,dust, gaseous. Their lifetime is too long. It not completely work on man made principles, it works on Nature principles.Eg, Moon. Artificial satellite made by human for their profit. It made up of elements which are know to human. Life's supporting gases are those gases with support life on Earth, There are multiple gases in the atmosphere some of them are required for the maintenance of life the most important gas is oxygen because it supports the most of the living species of the planet. They get infused with the oxygen carrier cells for example, RBC in human for making the cell structurally and functionally viable. One more gas plays a major role in supporting life is Carbon dioxide because it is required in photosynthesis which ultimately makes food for the living species and maintains an equilibrium between them.

The indiscriminate use of natural resources has lead to social, economic and ecological problems. The major problems has arisen because of over - popuation, irrational consumption and other factors. 

The main causes of deletion of natural resources are -- 

1.    depletion of resources, so to satisfy the greed of some individuals, has been continued,.

2.     accumulation of resources among the few segments has led to the division of the society into two segments - the rich and the poor, 

3.       Indiscriminate exploitation has led to the ecological crises --  depletion of Ozone layer, land and ocean degradation, global warming, environmental pollution, deforestation leading to less rainfall and drying up of the water, air and land resources, depletion of environmental moisture.

4.     The extinction of plantations, marine and wildlife led to the breaking - up of the inner core and crust of Earth leading to massive earthquakes, thunderstorms and tsunamis permanently damaging the very existence of life on the planet.

Energy is the total power derived from natural resouces -- the sun, oceans, fossil fuels, wind, etc, and can be converted into electrical energy for the consumption of our needs and benefits.

The sources of energy are --

electrical energy, heat/ thermal energy, chemical energy, mechanical energy, nuclear energy, energy in the form of electromagnetic radiation - light.

The two major resources  of energy are -- 

1. Reneweable  resources -- The resources that can easily renewed( replaced), does not cause any pollution, are inexhaustible and cannot be affected by human activities are --  Air, water and solar energy, and the resouces undergoing research and development are -- solar, biomass, wind, biogas, tidal, geothermal.

2. Non - reneweable resources -- The resources, that cannot be easily renewed, causes pollution, easily exhaustible and mainly affected by human activities  are --  Mineral, Oil, Natural Gas, petroleum, Coal, water power.

Longitudinal valleys between the lesser Himalayas and shiwaliks are known as ' duns' in the West and' duars' in the east
