According to me every child is different and requires a different learning technique. Teachers classify some as slow learners and others as fast learners since they measure their learning abilities for the same teaching approach. Every student is a fast learner if he/she finds a learning approach compatible to their personality and mindset. I tend to spend the first few days figuring out what the student is comfortable with and where his interests lie so I can mould my teaching plans accordingly. Apart from that I use flashcards, mnemonics, and games at the end of each unit for revision purposes.
