These were days where the students seemed uninterested, too talkative, or even worse a blow up occurred and nothing got accomplished.

As a child, having curiosity to understand the functioning of living systems, I have come a long way learning and pursuing research. I recently completed doctorate in LIFE SCIENCES from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, with two publications in high impact international peer-review journal SCIENTIFIC REPORTS (NATURE). I also hold a Master's degree in LIFE SCIENCES from Jawaharlal Nehru University, along with a bachelor's degree in the subject of BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES, from University of Delhi with distinction in both. I did training in basic molecular biology techniques from the institute of cytology and preventive oncology in the year 2007. With ample amount of hands on experience of practical as well as the theoretical aspect of the subject 'Biological Sciences', I wish to impart my knowledge to all the curious souls around the globe, seeking answers to their queries relating to the field of biology.

During my tenure of 6 years as a Research Fellow at School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, I worked hard to impart all the theoretical as well as the practical knowledge I had gained in the field of Biological Sciences to my colleagues and other graduate or postgraduate students of the department. As a part of curriculum, seminars, competitions or during journal clubs, innumerable times my teaching skills and presentations were appreciated by the attending students and the faculties, that motivated me today to persue teaching as a job. For a particular concept, I prefer referring to both the books and the recent research publication database for the content to present while teaching. I emphasise more on diagrammatic representations and animated videos over written theory as a teaching material in PowerPoint presentations for the better understanding of the concept. It's always a pleasure teaching curious students who are genuinely interested and are excited to learn new concepts. I tend to learn a lot in return from such students, motivating me to put more effort, improving my own skills and knowledge. Talking about Tutor as a profession, this is going to be my first experience of online teaching.
