It was a stroke of luck to have Manoj sir as my maths teacher while I was preparing for IIT JEE.He guided me through the most difficult chapters like "Permutation and Combination", "Complex Numbers" with great ease. He always asks the students to feel the concepts and understand its essence, and he has such a good command on mathematics that he is able to tackle any maths question of high difficulty with great ease. He works on developing the minds of his students and rest everything becomes better by itself. He just says one thing and it has a very deep meaning if one puts a thought on it--->"FIND THE HURDLE, AND REMOVE IT". Sir puts a great emphasis on this line and instills its importance in the minds of children, and it truly works magic. There is a lot more to say but any amount of words will be insufficient. Manoj sir emphasizes on understanding concepts from the basics, and from there builds up your maths, such that JEE Advanced level problems can be solved easily by using the said basic concepts. Let me tell you why I give 5 stars to sir. Manoj sir is extremely passionate about logical and applied mathematics, and I daresay is an expert in it. The chapter which require heavy logic and visualisation about situation inculde PnC, Probability, Vectors(also including 3D) etc. These chapters also happen to be thought of the toughest maths chapters in JEE. This is the advantage of Manoj sir in comparison to other tutors and even reputed coaching teachers. Maths is all about practice. If you've solved sufficient questions and revised them enough, then you start seeing patterns in question paper. However if you still cannot score in maths then problem lies in your concepts( though some chapters like PnC admittedly are hard to grasp). Sir will be extremely helpful in building your concepts in these difficult topics, as well as provide you extra material for other chapters if you wish. After chapter completion, again solve questions. Then you'll see the magic :) Just take a trial class to believe. Try PnC/Vectors/or your difficult chapter in the first class and decide accordingly.
Manoj sir is very dedicated to the student. He mentors the student not only in maths but in other subjects also. He directs you while doing questions so that you understand how to do questions instead of giving the answer directly. He makes you work for the answer which helps in getting a deeper understanding of the topic. My approach towards solving questions has changed significantly by focusing on how to solve the hurdle.
I started to take classes from Manoj Gadia sir when I was in class 10th and was preparing to appear for PreRMO . The first chapter he taught me was PNC, in which he had vast knowledge and grasp. I was able to qualify the pre-rmo and NTSE. His teaching skills are exceptional as he makes the student to feel the concepts rather than throwing the concepts at them like most teachers do. His method of "Identifying the hurdle in the question, and then working out to eliminate the hurdle " is the finest and the most efficient way towards solving a problem. He stresses on the "why?" rather than the "what?" in various methods to answer the question as he believes that the main goal is not to just answer the question but to actually analyse it so as to not face any problem in case of a new question. He is very strict and particular about the homework and sincerity. If the student behaves insincerely by not revising the already taught things or does not complete the homework, he immediately refuses to teach so that the student realises the insincere behaviour. He also helped me study SST and Chemistry for NTSE by sharing with me his unique and efficient way of learning. I would definitely suggest Manoj Sir for students who want to develop a strong understanding of Math as well as properly manage time among other subjects as well.
My experience with Manoj Sir has been very unique and has boosted my confidence. He has a very rare and unique teaching methodology. He stresses upon the conceptuality instead of just getting to the answer. He has a very firm grip on the chapters of Algebra- P&C, Probability, Sequences and Series, Binomial Theorem and Complex Numbers. He emphasises upon finding multiple methods to solve the same question so that the concepts remain clear in the confusing chapters like Probability. In coordinate geometry, he asks the student to approach the question by different methods and find the quickest of all the methods. He believes, “More does the student use pen in coordinate, weaker becomes the coordinate. Hence, the student must find the short and efficient way to solve the problem by developing a habit of thinking about the question.” STRESS IS GIVEN ON THE LOGIC AND LOGICAL THINKING AND HE NEVER REVEALS THE SOLUTION OF A QUESTION. RATHER, THE STUDENT BECOMES CAPABLE OF GETTING TO THE SOLUTION ON HIS OWN. HE ASKS THE STUDENTS TO ANALYSE THE CHAPTER AND THE QUESTION SO THAT THE STUDENTS FEEL THE CHAPTER INSTEAD OF JUST STUDYING IT. He is very strict and particular about the homework and sincerity.
