Experience

Completed M.Sc. & B.Sc (Hons) in Medical Biotechnology 3 different dissertations in different laboratories & conducted 8 short term certifications that have given me a lot of working experience & technical knowledge. As a tutor i have the following experience: -1 Yr exp in teaching VII to X in chemistry, biology, english & social studies. -1 yr exp in teaching XI & XII biology, chemistry & spoken english. -1 yr exp in teaching 1'st & 2'nd yr cell biology, microbiology & biochemistry.

Tutoring Approach

I plan my lessons topic wise & associate relatives topics from the course. By this approach I can cover much more course ground in an effective & interesting way rather than going chapter wise which can get tedious & require loads of revision by students. In this way the student gets a bigger picture while covering all details & make associations with other relevant topics. #Use of white board & marker- I like to use the traditional teaching way because it's focus bound & effective in engaging mind vision & hearing at the same time. #Use of Flash cards- this is a powerful recalling & revision technique that is employed by people of all ages & professions. this helps stimulate the mind making learned information more & more clear & permanent. I have some of my own & help students make their own. #Use of Videos & power point presentations- this approach is used for quick review & revision of topics/chapter/syllabus. The use of Audio visual tools leaves a long lasting impression of the information provided & also makes the learning process interesting. #Assessment:- progress is checked by conducting regular vocal-written exam & presentation on white board. this approach helps me understand the depth of concept grabbed by the students & also develops public speaking & presentation skills in students which is essential these days helping them develop confidence, command over vocal communication & a good personality. #Rewards for good performance: Students with good or improving performances are rewarded for their efforts to keep them inspired & focused on learning rather then mugging up. #Available for online classes & doubt clearing- In case students have doubts, they are free to call/email/ video call me in designated time & I'll try to rectify their doubts on the spot or as soon as possible. My approach makes my lessons one of a kind because they focus on concept building, bridging & making a complete picture of the syllabus. By the end of the classes the students will have no problems in facing any question that's posed to them & also they will be able to vocally explain the same concepts without fear.
