I'm a well trained and qualified music teacher. I have done B.A. music vocal (hnrs.) and M.A. music vocal. Along with that, I've been trained by the gurus of various reputable gharanas. I have a teaching experience of 3 years and I've trained a lot of students in music. I teach various genres of music including Hindustani classical, semi classical, light singing, bhajans, ghazals, bollywood songs, and folk music from the very basics to advance levels.
I also teach music theory and prepare the students of school and college level for the practical examination of the subject.
I give one-on-one individual classes to each and every student. Group classes are also organized once or twice a month for healthy music discussions and doing music together.

▪︎I start the lessons from scratch. Prior to teaching any kind of genres, I teach the basic musical terms such as shruti, swaras (shudha and komal), murchanas, alankaras, basic taals etc. and techniques such as finding one's own scale,vocal range,pitch etc. which forms the base for any kind of music.
▪︎I give notes and notations of everything that I teach in the class for the conceptual clarity and better understanding of the subject.
▪︎I give minimum of 2 lessons per week and for the rest of the week the students do riyaz of what they've been taught in the class. For theory classes, the number of classes per week vary on the basis of syllabus of the student.
▪︎In today's world, a lot of people, especially students, are facing a lot of stress and are worried about their future. In my class, I also focus on the well being of my students by connecting music with meditation which is very therapeutic and makes the mind sharp and healthy.
