I cleared KVPY SA stream in 2014, JEE MAINS and ADVANCED (1220 rank) in 2016. I am currently studying physics in IISc. Besides, when I was in school I cleared NSEP, NSEA and attempted INPhO and INAO. I have also won medals in various school competitions like IMO, NSTSE, Cyber Olympiad etc. My father is a well known teacher who runs his own coaching institute in Kutch, Gujarat and thus I have some experience in teaching students and preparing them for IIT and other similar exams.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is very concept-based and unique. I believe the student must be taught how to think, rather than just the facts. I consider myself fairly adept at toning down the complexity in physical and mathematical concepts so as to make the learning process easier for the student. I also firmly believe that the tutor must prepare his lecture and make his own concepts clear beforehand so as to be able to answer all of the student's questions.

While preparing for IITJEE and other competitive exams, I joined BASE coaching center in Bangalore. During this period, I tutored 2 of my juniors, and taught them mainly Physics and Mathematic. After completing JEE Mains, I was asked by BASE to teach their intensive training JEE and NEET batch for about 2 months. During this period, I taught them tips and tricks to ace their exams, as well as cleared doubts in concepts that they were not clear with.

Tutoring Approach

I use an application based approach, with a heavy focus on problem solving. I like using books that aim for Olympiad preparation (for Example, Irodov for physics). Through these problems, it is easier to visualize a given concept. I am particularly strong in Mathematics and Physics, and I believe that this approach is extremely useful in understanding the concepts. Currently, I am a student studying Mathematics at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and I feel that this gives me an edge.
