I have served as a Patent Associate in the Life Sciences department of a Law Firm for three years. Although I do not possess formal teaching experience, I have conducted seminars, presentations and workshops both during my college days and in my previous office, in which I have provided technical training in core Biology and Chemistry related subjects and also in Patent Law.

Tutoring Approach

After having a thorough look at the prescribed text book and also subsidiary text books, I would spend a few minutes trying to understand all that the pupil is aware about the topic in a general discussion and thereafter begin the tutoring session upon gauging the pupil's understanding. My sessions would be more of a two-way discussion rather than a one- way recital.

I stay at Chinnappa Garden, Benson town post. I have been taking tuition from home for the past 3 years. Recently I had a small break but now, I would like to continue with my passion. Hence I am back. I usually keep the school syllabus as a guide line and go ahead with helping my students. I sense out the less stronger area in their subject and try to make it simpler for them. On Saturdays I usually give them a short test.

Tutoring Approach

I approach tutoring in such a way that I show the students the basics, and then give them a variety of practice exercises and urge them figure out the answers themselves. If in doubt, I would keep prompting them to find the right answers thereby helping them to grasp the right concepts.
